Default Motherboard x16?

Hey this board at tiger direct is really nice and eveything but one thing gets me though i know the sli mode isnt what it should be, but i only plan on using 1 x16 slot for my graphics card on it. The SLi mode says x8, x8. The info is on this link,

My question is can i just have one graphics card that will run at x16? I dont care for SLi, its not worht the money. I just saw this really good deal on tiger direct.
