if your looking for a 120hz monitor be prepared to dish out some dough. I bought a 27" gaming monitor, the 60hz versions went for 350$ and the only 120hz monitor I could find was 700$. Smaller monitors might be a little easier to find, but either way you have a lot of searching to do to find the best one.
A mid tower case will be fine, just find one that you like. I would suggest looking at one that allows for the wires to be routed through the side of the case to allow for easier cable management. Most newer cases have this feature. If you want a modular PSU you can look at the HX620 which is around 15-20$ more.
