if your looking for a 120hz monitor be prepared to dish out some dough. I bought a 27" gaming monitor, the 60hz versions went for 350$ and the only 120hz monitor I could find was 700$. Smaller monitors might be a little easier to find, but either way you have a lot of searching to do to find the best one.

A mid tower case will be fine, just find one that you like. I would suggest looking at one that allows for the wires to be routed through the side of the case to allow for easier cable management. Most newer cases have this feature. If you want a modular PSU you can look at the HX620 which is around 15-20$ more.

Roark, I went with your suggestion (the MSI Z68A-GD55). Next, I bought a nice mid tower, along with the previous specs listed. I'll let you know how it all runs. Here's the case, I figured this Antec case wasn't bad.

Thats one of the few Antec cases I like

Post up some pics when you're done building and let us know how everything is working for you.

AAAAGGGHHH! Building a PC is a lot tougher than I thought. Plus some of these manuals are ridiculous. Anyone know of a very informative site that gives a nice overview of all the features and where to connect them?

Well, each board layout is a little different, but everything should be labeled.

The two resources I'd suggest are:
Build a PC - Introduction to Building your PC - PCitYourself.com

The first is an animated guide, the drop-down menus below the videos go into a little more detail.
The Newegg video is pretty long, but informative if you have the time.
