Motherboard help PCI-Express and AGP

Hi i was planning on getting a GeForce 6800GT PCI-Express from my friend because he's upgrading but will it fit in my mother card? i have a MSI 865PE NEO. im mostly worried about the PCI-E part, i'm not that good with computers, so i need your help. heres a little info on my motherboard http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mainboard/mbd/pro_mbd_detail.php?UID=433

Nope. You need an AGP 6800GT, or you need to get a new board.

It will not fit, you have an AGP motherboard. the PCI-Express video card will physically not fit, you need a PCI-Express slot on the motherboard.

AHHH! that sucks, cause my friend was willing to sell it to me for a 100$ but he said that if i can't use it he'll sell it to someone else becasue he doesnt want me making a profit

Actually buying a new Graphics Card that is AGP would be better for you. Upgrading to a new motherboard is probably around the same cost (including your friends GPU) as buying a AGP version. And 2nd hand computer parts are dodgey.
