Question Motherboard Help!

hi off ebay yesterday i brought a MSI 645 Ultra Motherboard and today i brought a INTEL CELERON 1.7GHZ SOCKET 478 Processor. my question is will it work together because the motherboard website says pentium 4 but arns P4 and celeron different things because i thought celeron was the cheap version of P4?
i was just wondering if it would work as iv searched google and all i can find is a load of pages saying 404 not found from the msi website.

thanks zack

A celeron is a crippled version of a P4. The L2 cache is usually half of the P4. The processor and motherboard will fit together though.
