Smile More ram cooler system?

Hi I just upgraded my laptop from 386mhz of ram to 1gb and noticed immediately that it runs noticably cooler and the fan rarely even has to come on now. Is it normal for more ram to cause a system to run so much cooler?

I think adding more RAM, makes it easier for the system, to run...so it won't have to rev up, to cool down.

How can you go from a clock speed to an amount of memory? Probably a common mistake.

More RAM, makes a system run smoother and quicker. So it doesn't make the computer overheat so much.
