Maybe I can give people a better idea of what I'm shooting for. I have the above listed components along with a quantum fireball slave (30GB) and I use it for running GIS software, specifically ESRI's ARCMAP 9.1. With the current system it seems to be slower than what I would like. The RAM difference should help shouldnt it? Or is it the intel celeron that is choking me up? I have just started subcontracting from home and need to make the process as easy as possible since digitizing is....is.....just so damn much to do. Anyway all ideas would be appreciated.
