Which Monitor? Need Advice

My HP TFT monitor just burn't out! I need a new monitor. Have narrowed it down to the following two. Look under the specification link.

The Samsung has 500:1 contrast ratio, 4ms response time and DVI interface.

The Asus is an LCD monitor has no DVI interface but has a 800:1 contrast ratio, 5ms respnose and is slightly cheaper.

Which one should i get? Does the Samsung having DVI interface compensate for lower contrast ratio?

The ASUS is still a very nice monitor, and for the much lower price, it's worth it

Id go with the samsung due to the dvi. It really does look better than vga.
