Which monitor do you think would be a good choice?

AOC is significantly cheaper, but I'm reluctant to buy it because I haven't seen any reviews of it, and the manufacture seems obscure to me. By the way, I'm a casual gamer, so the quality of the display is important to me.

Of the two the AOC one is probably better because of the higher contrast ratio. But I'm not familiar with that brand so...I don't know. This is a good deal though:

Supports 1080P, 2ms response, and has HDMI hookups. I'd go for the Asus, their monitors are nice and it has free shipping .

Well you can't really compare contrast ratios between brands, each brand has their own way of rating their own contrasts. The gateway might very well look better.
