Ok, so I got the Adapters, plug up and turn on the Computer and nothing on the monitor. if the cable is plugged in the monitor stays in sleep mode, but when I unplug it I get the check video cable connection message. any ideas?

any ideas at all guys? I would love to get this thing working so that I can a little extra cash for the build I'm gonna be doing very soon.

why would a computer have 2 serial ports and no vga anyway? just curious
