H hercules_upw Daemon Poster Messages 694 Aug 31, 2005 #2 It is OK to have both IDE & SATA hard drivesn on the same system . I have two of both on my set-up. (SATAs in RAID 0 and the IDEs for some storage.) As for the "secondary HDD" , it looks fine.
