micro atx vs 2 slot gfx cards

I have an hd 4890 which is a pretty big card... and I am looking for a motherboard with ddr3 1600 support
I was wondering if it can fit into a micro atx mobo without much problems?
Are micro atx mobos designed for smaller,on the go, low to mid range performance pcs?

More often than not, MATX mobos have integrated graphics and a good price tag so are commonly used in office PC builds. Some small/low end server cases also only support MATX and their integrated graphics are useful there as well.
There shouldn't be an issue with putting a dual slot graphics card any more than there is on ATX.
