also I am trying to fit this motherboard inside a mid tower (atx) case

My project is to build a ddr2 computer including a cpu, 2x1 gb of ddr2 ram, mobo, case, psu
with 200-250$ using my current gpu (hd4890). If there is any way I could go more cost efficient or cheaper, please post a suggestion, thanks

That's probably the best you're going to get for the money, though it would probably be a good diea if you got a DDR3 motherboard for easier upgrading in future.

why do you want an m-atx mobo? its not even like youre going to use it in a restrictive case because youre buying that too.

here are some parts you could look at.

Newegg.com - AMD Athlon II X2 240 Regor 2.8GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM3 65W Dual-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops
Newegg.com - ASRock M3A770DE AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard - AMD Motherboards
Newegg.com - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-10600CL8D-2GBHK - Desktop Memory
Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!

total $249 + shipping.

not looking for upgradability here, just need a budget pc

micro atx seems to be the cheapest type of board I can find, so I am asking this question
