That board has onboard sound I believe. If that is the case with it, what do i need to do to disable the onboard video and add my own video card?
its just a matter of going to the device manager and disabling it
in most cases its not even necessary to disable it since the output will be directed through the graphics card (since you'll plug it in there)
onboard video is always helpful when you might not have a working graphics card
