Default Medium-Low end computer

Hey..my friend wants me to build them a low-ish end computer, but I'm not good at that, since I only have experience with medium to high end PCs...I bet I'd end up building a $2000 PC:

Their price range is approximately $350...anyone have suggestions? (PS: They also need Win XP Home)

Thanks!

Is there anything that we can do without? Can you use their old peripherals or HD or CD drive or anything?

I'm throwing this together quick so here it goes...

XP Home - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16832116169
Mobo - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813186090
CPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819112206
Memory - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820141413
HDD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822144102
Case - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811156011
PSU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817104951
Optical Drive - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827151086
Misc. - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16823174011

Total : a little less than $340 though it doesn't include a monitor. If they're looking for a computer thats cheap, Although it pains me to say it, I'd just go for a dell or something. They get their parts (though cheap quality) for cheap prices, dropping the price of the system as well.
NOTE: XP is OEM edition to save money, don't know if you care.

EDIT: after a quick look through dell's site, the cheapest computer they offer, for $359 is much the same as the one I made above though it has vista () and also 7.1 sound (though when running vista the integrated graphics and 512Mb Memory on the thing will more than likely crap it's pants). So I'd now go with my build. I left you a little headroom to modify/add some components

DOUBLE EDIT: lol sorry hit the quote button instead of the edit button, mods go ahead and delete my first post.
