can you guys please tell me what parts i should get?

my budget is around 800-1k for the tower. please dont go over 1k.

i need suggestions for basicly all parts...

tower case
ram (i want atleast 2 gigs)
gfx card
sound card ( it can be 10 bux, dont really care about GREAT sound... just bang for the buck)
etc. etc.

thanks... im not much of a gamer but i am a cs:s player.

things im really looking for is a good processor (64bit, 1mb cache optional.) a good ram (2gigs) and a moderate gfx card (something bang for the buck and will let me play pretty good in cs:source)

im leaning towards the amd 3600+ san diego.

any suggestions will be well appreciated and i will post up pics after i build it

Hehe, thats almost exactly the price im after. In NZ we might have different products.
Tower- You can get a decent one for about $70
CPU- Try a AMD 3500+ s939 or 3700
MoBo- Your choice, aim for a PCIe, with int. sound
RAM-Aim for 2x1 gb DDR 400Mhz non-ECC
GFX-On your budget try a 6600GT
Sound card-You can live with integrated, its not that bad
Fans-there should be 1 with the case. Better to get another 120mm silent fan just in case.

Try and search for those things. I can get a list to you later but not right now.
