Makeing a pile......Acceptable?

Here is the basics i bought a comp for $50
it has a very small Hard drive
and no graphics card
(its a old hospital computer)
im kinda (very) broke
they need replaced, so if i buy a "bare" hard drive do i need to do anything before throwing a copy of windows xp on it? and can anyone recommend a graphics card good enough for WoW? preferably under $100 (around $50 would be better) also i dont want to replace my power supply, its a dell with 250w output, idk what else you need to know.....

i just dont want to have to buy 18 things to find out they all dont work

You just need to put the XP CD in, and run the setup. It will format it, and everything.

What expansion slots does your motherboard have? PCI, PCI express, or AGP?

Then, I can recommend you a video card.
