Welcome to TF.

I'll try and build something, but as windows alone is $100 it'll be tough.

Oh, well I don't mind spending up to $450. If that's okay for a lil build.

Newegg.com - Recertified: HP Pavilion P6627C (BT456AAR#ABA ) Refurbished Desktop PC Athlon II X4 635(2.9GHz) 4GB DDR2 640GB HDD Capacity NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
Newegg.com - XFX GT-240X-YAFA GeForce GT 240 512MB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card
Newegg.com - Antec Basiq BP350 350W ATX12V v2.01 Power Supply

$405, with a $30 rebate on the video card.

Kind of quick and dirty, someone should be able to find better.

If you don't want recertified, you could go with this: Newegg.com - CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra 2082 Desktop PC Athlon II X2 260(3.2GHz) 4GB DDR3 1TB HDD Capacity AMD Radeon HD 6450 (1 GB) Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Or either of these: Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, LED LCD TV, Digital Cameras and more!

Brinks, I wouldn't go with a green drive as the OS drive.

I know green drives aren't good for the OS, but it's part of the combo deal so I can't change it.

Thanks to Roark and brinks for taking the time to help me with this

Which one would you prefer? And also, the graphics card. I have a little trouble thinking to myself which of the graphics card is better. Integrated HD Graphics 2000 or NVIDIA GeForce GT 520 1GB or AMD Radeon HD 6450 (1 GB)? All 3 of those are from the links you showed me.

Well, those 2 are sorta in 2 corners.. While the 520 is a entry level card, it will be better than aq intergrated gpu like the intel.

Now, the intel cpu is better than the amd one, even those its a dual corfe vs quad core.

I'd go with the Intel one, as youre going to want a better gpu anyway, so get the better cpu and tough out the igp till you got moree cash for a better gpu.
