Low benchmarks on all games on both pc's with same graphics card

I had a dell pc with a 305 watt psu and the graphics card below and tried to game on it. My benchmarks were horrid. Well, i just bought a new pc with an amd 64 3700+ processor, 1 gig of ram, a 250 gb hd, and a Jaton 256 mb geforce 7800gt videocard. This pc has the same problem with benchmarks. I am beginning to suspect that it is the graphics card's fault. What do you think? It has been over 30 days, so i don't think that i can RMA. Do you think it is damaged?

which benchmark program?and what was your score.. My rig is similar to yours i get about 70k on aquamark3 and 7k on 3dmark5

i get 7500 on 3d mark05. Why then, are my fps so low?

it's a taxing program. it's designed to stress your components. If they made benchmarks easy to pass, then everyone would be soaring through them and have no clue how they would perform until they used real games.

Umm, I mean in the actual games. I am getting poor benchmarks on games such as unreal tournament 2004, counterstrike, half-life 2, etc.
