Looking for the perfect 22" LCD Monitor.

Hey everyone, looking for a new monitor. Currently i have a 19" Samsung 940b and i dont like the resolution on it. I want to find a nice 22" glossy lcd monitor that is 1680x1050 or so resolution. Im looking to spend hopefully under $350 or so. Im not really sure what the good 22" price range is, but i dont want to be spending the highest amount possible. This monitor wont be used for gaming, but will be used for watching movies / general web surfing and multitasking. What monitor would you guys suggest?

Well this is my favourite monitor ever the VX2235 or the VX2245 if you want all the extras ~I ve got one great screen looks incredible but it is a little pricey I use it for watching movies mostly so I can tell from experience it is a good movie screen the black level is surprisingly good. 2ms response time, 1000:1 ratio, 1680x1050 resolution...

he wont need a 2ms response time when watching a movie 16ms would be good enough for movies and internet 8ms is the safe bet though no point paying extra for lower response times which aren't needed. great monitor but I don't think it is valid in this situation.

8ms compared to 2ms is very very hard to notice anything. I always say 5 is perfect for gaming for the price and even 8ms really won't make a difference.
