Default Looking for cheap sound card for x64

The sound on my motherboard has been dead for some time now; I've been using an old PCI sound card that only has drivers for x32 operating systems. I would like to start using x64 again and am looking for a cheap sound card that is known not to have any driver issues with x64 vista or x64 windows 7. The reason why I am asking this is because I read a lot of reviews on newegg about people buying sound cards that do not work with x64.

asus xonar
Newegg.com - ASUS Xonar DX 7.1 Channels PCI Express Interface Sound Card - Sound Cards

65 bucks after MIR. the cheap crative cards are likely never to work well with vista.

Wow, I guess I will just buy a new mainboard if its going to cost $90... My current mainboard was $90, its got a broken SATA port and a bad sound card.

Whats a good p45 motherboard that is a good overclocker that goes under $120?

I was thinking one of these

Newegg.com - ASUS P5Q LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards
Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

As much as I love ASUS, I would say go Gigabyte here. Free shipping, plus a rebate.

I'm probably going to go with the gigabyte board, not because of the price but because of the location on the 24 pin power connector. It's in a much better spot on the gigabyte board IMO, if it was there on the asus one I would have gotten that one.
