Default Looking to buy external hard drive and what some help

Ok im looking at two hard drive (external). One is 320 gb at 7200 RPM (80 bucks) and the the other is 400 gb at 5400 RPM ( 75 bucks). Ho much is the diffenrce in speed going to be noticed and what one do you think is better to go for, speed or volume? Or do you have any other good ones like on newegg that you would suggest for aound 75ish for a protable hard drive?

You probably won't notice any difference because the USB interface is slower than any IDE/Sata interface.

If your computer has an eSATA port then you could just buy a hard drive enclosure around $20 and an internal hard drive around 50$ and get the full speed of the hard drive. but that only if you have eSATA.
