The Dominators are overpriced, get these ones instead:
Newegg.ca - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL8T-6GBRM

Everything else looks good.

It's a bit flexible. I think right now, with all the components I've picked, it's around 1600-1700, which admittedly, is a bit steep. However, I'd be willing to part with that much money for a quality computer that would be reliable for awhile, and stave off becoming obsolete.

That computer will be awesome, I recommend against the samsung drive, i'll promote Western Digital Caviar Blue/Black for this build till the day I die.

Thanks for all the recommendations! Those are some good ways to keep the budget down. Do you mind me asking why you recommend against the samsung drive though? Just curious, because from many comments and reviews I read (mostly on newegg.ca, but also did some searching for some others), most people seemed to have a positive view of it. Totally not bashing your suggestion though, just trying to learn as much as possible! I'll deff look into the Wester Digital drives.

The Black series are very fast and have a five year warranty, so that's the reason I would go with one. The larger F3 drives are just as fast as the Blacks, but not the 500GB.
