Boot into the Windows recovery console, and do fixboot and fixmbr to get the Windows bootloader back into the MBR.

Boot off the XP CD, and when it comes to the main install menu, hit R. It will bring you to the recovery console. Then do fixboot and fixmbr, exit, and reboot.

If you delete the linux partition and you installed it after windows the boot partition will be wiped a long with it.

Go to knoppix.com and download the live CD so you can back up any thing if you want to reformat. (reads NTFS FAT32)
