Default Lga 775

This is what the motherboard says:

Quote:
CPU Supported
CPU Type Intel P4/Prescott(LGA775) 800/533 FSB CPU Support
CPU Socket Intel Socket T(LGA775)
FSB 533/800MHz
Now, it says only Pentium 4's are supported, but, it also says LGA775. So if a CPU i find is an LGA 775, will it work even though its not a Pentium?

That motherboard only supports single core Pentium 4 chips.

Here's a compatibility list
CPU-Upgrade: MSI PM8M2-V (MS-7071) cpu support and features

much better choice.

even better would be something to support Core 2 Duo...but you will most likely have trouble fitting the budget that way.
