Hey,

Just looking for some help with prices on a computer which i am thinking of buying.

Specs of the computer are:

Galaxy 3 gaming case with 450Wpsu (kinda old i know)
Processor : Intel E5300 Dual Core 2.6ghz 800mhz
Hard Drive : 250gb 8mb Cache Serial ATA
Memory : 2gb DDR3 1333 PC10660
Motherboard : Asus P5G41C-M
Graphics Card : Onboard Intel GMA4500 Graphics 1GB
Optical Drive : 20x Lightscribe DVD Writer

I plan then to upgrade the ram to 4x 2GB DDR3 1333, throw in a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4670 512MB GDDR3 graphics card and finish off with upgrading the optical drive with a Sony Optiarc DRU-870S 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter.

I am just asking fort your opinions on this, as I haven't looked into desktop towers for a while, and wanted to be able to run newer games coming soon like Guild Wars 2, Diablo 3 smoothly on relatively high settings on my Sony bravia monitor.

I am getting the Computer for £240.00.

I would consider building from scratch, but I think this may be more cost effective,

Thanks,

Artemix

Thanks for the replies,

The XFX ATI Radeon HD 5750 512MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card gets a good write up, not much more than the other card I was looking at but packs a bigger punch. I was also thinking of just sticking with 4GB of RAM in the dual channels.. 4 x 1GB DDR3 1333mhz.

In this case i would prbably end up getting a similar computer to the one at the top, but comes with 500GB HDD instead of 250GB, and alsocomes with 4GB 1333mhz DDR3 RAM. Then the only other product I would need to buy is the XFX ATI Radeon HD 5750 512MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card, which i can get for £90.00 - Total cost would end up being about £400.00
