Lenovo Y580 upgrade HDD to Vertex 4

Hi guys,
My new lenovo y580 will be shipped in 2 weeks (Lenovo Y580 Specs | IdeaPad Laptop Tech Specs | Lenovo (US)) (I got HDD 500GB 7200rpm)

In the mean time, I'm thinking about upgrading its HDD to SDD. And I'm thinking about replacing it with OCZ Vertex 4 256 GB

My question is,
Does Lenovo Y580 has SATA 3 for Vertex 4?
Is Vertex 4 a good choice?
If I'm going to clone my current laptop's 128 GB SSD to Vertex 4 256 GB, Can I copy the preloaded software from original lenovo HDD easily?

1. No it doesn't, it has SATA 1.
2. No, I would grab a Samsung 830 instead.
3. Yes and probably not.

Any upgrade at all from a HDD to an SDD will be a huge upgrade and you will notice it, but to spend your money wisely just go Samsung or Intel imo.
