LCD Screens 2ms Vs 4ms

I was wondering if any one had any experience with either of these types of monitors.

Is there any real difference (that you can actually see) with 2ms over the 4ms or (even the 8ms version screens for that matter). Or is it some marketing con to make us part with our money!! Lol...

I am currently looking at:

17" Samsung SM740BF 2ms

17" Samsung SM730BF 4ms

17" Viewsonic VX724 3ms

I am not planning watching DVD's through this so was not thinking about Widescreen but if they would be better I am happy to look at other options.

anything under 8 is virtually unnoticable. I, personally, don't see any problems with a 16ms. If all of those are under 4, just pick which one you like more.

I can probably save a few £ if I go for something 8ms. Especially if it is going to make no discernable difference over 2,3 or 4ms Screens.

Thats the 19" Version, are you happy with it? or would you suggest somenting different?

im pretty sure nubius is running one with a 24ms response time, and he said there's never been a problem.

i'd still go below 12 or 16
