Default Laptop memory help

I am a dummy when it comes to memory, I had purchased what seemed to be the right kind, it was pc133 from pny but when I installed it in my c610 the bios said the memory was unsupported. So I have been trying to figure it out and cant find the memory requirements for that laptop and theres all kinds of different memory. I know for sure that its pc133 but I know nothing else and after reading I found out that there are a few different pc133 chip types. Any help would be good, Thanks.

Hi krazie680,

I highly recommend using the Crucial System Scanner. This scans your system and lists exactly what type of memory you need. Crucials prices are quite good but I recommend studying the results and then buying the memory at www.tigerdirect.com or www.newegg.com. The URL for the scanner is
http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/

Good luck, let me know how it goes!
