Is this laptop a good buy?

i would put in atleast 1gb of ram it can handle 2gb
it says it uses DDR SDRAM, which of these would be good?Is 2x 512mb or 1 1mb stick better? what is a good quality ram for non oc?
im using it for watching dvd's, music, and webbrowsing, and light gaming. what do you think? ty

That laptop is not very good. It has short battery life and is slow. I recently read a review on it.

how many of those things are you gonna do while away from home/office/wall outlet? because you could then just resort to a desktop, which would be cheaper, more reliable, more flexible, more upgradable, etc. if you want mobility, you could make up for it by gettin a external.

a desktop in my car?
btw, i found this laptop for 398$
with 1 or 2 gb of ram for 80$ or so it cant be bad
i havta sell my desktop first tho, it has a Sempron 3000+ and im happy with it cept its not mobile and i dont use it as much as i used to for gaming(iv got other interests now)

unless you wanna buy desktop memory for your laptop you need to check this link out, find out what speed it runs at, and if it supports dual channel get 2x512 MB or 2x1 GB. Stick with Corsair or OCZ they are the quality memory manufacturers
