I want to use the LAPTOP for general use, and I want to be able to run a lot of programs at once. I don’t want the computer to freeze up from to many programs, I just want it to run flawlessly.
I am going to be doing a lot of photo editing(I want to get photoshop) and watching and downloading a lot of videos and music. I want a big high resolution screen
My current comp freezes if I run to many things at once, and sometimes even one thing freezes up( Like today I tried to convert a video for my ipod, and the comp just freaked out).
Basically I want a high performance machine and I want it in a laptop.

MY GOD, do you realize you are looking at Alienware, and into the $5000-$6000 range for this? You could get a desktop for half.

EDIT: And you REALLY don't need a machine like that to do all that. My dual 500mhz G4 can do all that, and more, if I push it.

Ditch the P4 for a Pentium M. And that GFX card isn't very good.
