That laptop would blow my socks off. 2 nvidia geforce 7900 in sli, 1gb of ram, and a 19" lcd. Now that thing owns.

There is no way i could afford it though.

Ouch that looks like crap, and probably gets about 30 seconds of battery life.

I can think of alot better ways to spend $4000, even on a laptop

They aren't usually meant to have long battery life - they are a desktop replacement. It wouldn't be worth getting a laptop like that if one was traveling more than 3 hours w/o an outlet.

I just checked out the Acer Ferrari and I don't know how good the graphics are but they don't look like they'd be that good.

No.. it wouldn't. Not on high settings. Maybe... MAYBE medium and you will have lag.

i just brought a toshiba tecra m5 top of range one £1100 it 2.6 C2D with nivida graphics card but you can get a lower chip (same card less HDD space) for between 800 - 100 depending on chip speed 1.6 = 800ish ithink
