Default Just a question on monitor size?

hey guys, i know this is going to sound a little silly but i'm asking about peoples preferences with monitor size.

The monitor i have right now is a 17" LG monitor. Now to me that's a decent size, wehn i upgrade i'd probably go to 19". But the majority of people seem to support a 22" monitor.

How close to you guys sit to your screens roughly, because it seems to me 22" would almost swamp my eyes:laughing: . I suppose i need to go and look at one up front but is a 22" monitor suitable for a normal desk?

My brother went from a 19" 3:4, to a 19" Widescreen and the widescreen actually seemed smaller, even though the measurement was the same. Because of this, I think that a 22" wouldn't be as big as you think... though, it still is pretty good sized.

I would say 22" would be just fine for a normal desk.

even 24" would be fine for a normal desk.
LCD prices have gone down to an affordable price now, 22" can be found at less that $250. 24" step up to $350+
