the dual channel seems to make a pretty big difference for myself (well actually im running triple channel now) ..also the default dual channel RAM slots are generally either 1&3 or 2&4....never next to each other like 1&2 or 3&4

Yeah? That's fantastic. Maybe I won't have to upgrade after all. I'll definitely remember that.

Also, triple channel?! What's that? xD

I hate you.

Hey, how important is the PSU? Do you think the fact I only have 500 Watts could be a factor here for my issues?

watts arent as important as amps....but with 500 watts you should be just fine on your rig....

as for dual channel...

The PSU I have is this,

TigerDirect.ca 404 Error - Page Not Found

Is that good enough to run the hardware I have without issues? Or could it be the cause for my problems? xD

Also the difference between single and dual channel seems really minimal.

Ouch.. 28Amps Barely.

Even though you're a Quebecer, using NCIX.com - Canada's Premier Computer Store - Great Technology, Service and Selection. cheaper and they got beter service, out of BC.

PSUs are very important, its the heart of you're system. Replace it with a co9rsair 550vx maybe.. same W double the amps

NCIX.com - Buy Corsair VX550W 550W ATX 12V 41A 24PIN ATX Power Supply Active PFC 120MM Fan - CMPSU-550VX In Canada.

Sorry I'm still a newbie to this, but what do amps have to do with it?

And is 28 amps really that bad? I mean could it be the cause of my issues? Before I do anymore buying, I really just want to pinpoint the issue first.
