Can it work with that motherboard? ddr2 800 is what the boards specs are. Does it matter?

that one may be slightly cheaper, but I would still go with the EVGA because of the step up program. you can upgrade to the 640 mb version of the 8800gts much cheaper.

also, i think that ram would be compatible with that motherboard, but dont quote me on it.

would one of these 512mb be faster then 2gb of ddr2?

Well on my X1900XT 512 (no OC) i get 136 fps on all high settings in CS:S including AA and AF so i think the GTS will handle it great
