E2200 at stock speeds does outperform 4800+, and it does outperform 5200+ in some cases

In mp3 encoding and DivX, it outperformed 5600+

In photoshop, it outperforms even 6000+ !!!

All that at stock speed !! Don't forget the fact that if you overclock E2200, it would destroy any Athlon64 processor easily

honestly for $14 more I think getting an m0 Stepping e2140 is worth it (L2 must be gone already)
