Hey everyone,
I plan on buying a new Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive Newegg.com - Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive to install on my PC, currently i only have a 75 GB one and its running out of room and so i wanted to get the same information that the thread creator asked for.
I am using window 7 currently, so does that mean that i have to reinstall the OS on the new hard drive or will it auto recognize it. And is it possible to install programs/games/videos on the new hard drive and run/watch it on the PC?
I am a noob at this sorta stuff and so i would like some of your advice , Also if i get more HD you all think i should also upgrade my RAM? currently i have a G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
