Default Installing More RAM

I'm currently running on a ASRock 775XFire-eSATA2 motherboard with 2 512 sticks of RAM and I was wondering if anyone knew if I could install just a 1 gig stick to go along with the 2 512 sticks.

You should install 2 sticks of 512mb to get dual channel instead of just 1 stick of 1024mb.

Yes, you should be able to have 1x1024mb and 2x512mb.
