I'd reccomend going with a single X1900XTX instead and 2 gigs of OCZ memory on a DFI board with an Opteron 170 and then OC everything. Get a nice solid Lian-Li case with a 600w OCZ PSU. A nice 150gig 10,000RPM HD or two in RAID would be awesome.

You can choose the monitor, optical drive, keyboard and mouse.

but if you have unlimited cash you dont want to worry about overclocking, if you dont have to OC, DONT!!! i think that dual opteron 280s is the best bet

Since when is that the best? More CPU's doesnt always mean better.

they are high end server cpus that multitask like a *****, since it looks like a media PC having the potetial for for or even 8 cpu cores means encoding videos etc whilst playing games etc

id watercool if u had the cash, which you do, my buddy has had 2 watercool set ups for 2 of his comp but he liked the Zalman the best. im pretty sure u can get em at newegg for less than 200 right now the other one was a corsair which he didnt like as much, which run for about 185 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...7&Sku=C13-8004
