I have the following hardware:

asus a8n-e mobo
amd anthelon 64x 4400+
eVga geforce 7800 gt

i was wondering what the idea temp for the system should be?

my current readings are:

cpu temp: 30C / 86F
MB temp: 35C / 95F
CPU Fan: 2678
Pwr Fan: 6026

What do you think of these temps / speeds

temperatures are pretty typical, depending on where you live and where your computer is situated in the house.

Well, those temperatures are really, really good. I would be a little suspicous of your CPU temp. 30 is low. Unless you keep your house on the cold side, I don't see a dual core processor keeping that cool. Try another program or check your bios for comparable temperature readings.
