Arrow Ide - Sata Hd

I have 2 IDE Hard drives right now in my system.
Would it be possible to add a SATA hard Drive to my system ?
Or is that out of the question ?
Meaning, once your system has IDE drives, you have to stick with IDE ?

Thank you

It would be possible to add SATA hard drives to your system, if your motherboard supports SATA, and has SATA ports. If not, like Dio1080 said, there are converters or SATA PCI cards.
