Default IDE to SATA adapter.

Has anyone used or uisng these?

Are they any good and if there are some that does not require additional power? I might need 3 of these.

What is the point of that? Just get a PCI SATA controller.

Way less problematic.

I already have the SATA connectors on the mobo. It for converting IDE drives to SATA not other way arroung.

Oh, I figured that was to plug into the IDE connector on the motherboard.

Hmm ... actually I have a use for this. I need two of them!
