Which is overall better for a hard drive? I've never used SATA before so any info is useful:D
SATA is better.

However make sure you have your motherboards SATA drivers handy on floppy disk before fromating your computer.

Don't remind me about that.

If only I purchase my current motherboad one week later, i would of had SATA. :(

SATA 2 (SATA II) has increased the theoretical max. speed to 300MB/Sec and had NCQ for supported drives. NCQ is native command queing. It means if the cpu makes request A, B, C, D, E it will do it in the order C, A, E, D, B if it is more efficient.
