yes u can, one for the hard-drive and the other one for your dvd-rw. they'll be in two different channels. your motherboard has two IDE connections

Yes, but he wants to use 2 seperate cables for 1 channel. Not possible.

No i dont want to use them for one channel... lol, thats obviously not possible :P.
