I have $1390 Canadian to spend, tell me what to get

My current specs I am looking to improve

2 gigs pc3200 OCZ ram
XfX Geforce 7900 GS Extreme Edition
Amd Athalon X2 Dual Core 4200
Msi K8n neo4 Platinum Mobo


The rest is fine. I will have a brand new all black Tsunami to put the new stuff in.

So what should I do?

your computer is pretty good... no need to upgrade now...

just wait like 1 year, then buy a nice comp for like $2000

with $2k next year you'll probably get quadcore cpu and a dx10 gpu..

upgrading to a c2d or w/e now isn't really necessary... best bet is to wait 1 year, by then your computer will be mid range.

Ya, I was thinking about saving up for a new DX10 card. However I will probably have some more cash by then.

why would you want quad core unless you own some servers or some kind of business...Vista and Dx10 probably wont even use quad core for gaming.

Video rendering is my career. I have PC's at the office that obviously handle it much better, but being able to render video quickly at home will help as well.

Yeah.. I don't know why you would want to upgrade(your system is nice) unless you like burning money.
