Question hp mini cpu/computer chip

Hello,
I'm newish to computing and am wondering how much effective, complex (putting in motherboard), and costly purchasing a new cpu/computer chip for my hp mini would be.
Thank you

you won't be able to. You might be able to upgrade the processor, but it wouldn't give you a lot of increased performance and upgrading the motherboard is out of the question. The goal of a netbook remember is mobility, not power. If the mini isn't enough performance for your needs then I'd look at getting a laptop.

Thank you Peter.
You said I might be able to upgrade my processor. How effective, complex , and costly would that be. You see I am on budget being a teenager.

Well, if it has an Atom processor, you couldn't replace it. Those are hardcore integrated to your system.

Mobile processors also tend to be rather expensive....

That's why it's better to save up for a whole new laptop. Or just get a desktop for much less.

What are you trying to do with the computer? If its day to day tasks, no gaming, an increase of ram might help you a fair bit, and its a cheap upgrade to do.
