how's my rig?

just planning on upgrading my mobo, cpu, ram and maybe psu.

ASRock 939Dual-SATA2
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice 1GHz FSB Socket 939 Processor
Thermaltake TR2 W0070 ATX 430W Power Supply
WINTEC 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 333 (PC 2700) Unbuffered

i already have harddrives, a nvidia fx5600 that i think is still sufficient for my gaming. does the speed for that ram matter much? moreover, since im plannin on getting an apple laptop next year, this pc just needs to last a while but on a budget. suggestions?

That DDR333 is gonna kill performance. Look for some DDR400 if you aren't ocing and make sure it has 2 cas latency becasue AMDs are very sensitive to high cas latencies.

budget about 400-500. preferably lower the better.
again im mainly just doing some mild gaming, and internet surfing, winamp instant messengers.. etc mutitasking. thanks
