my client is paranoid about his system crashing. What I sold him was cloning his drive so if it crashed, he could come back to the date it was cloned and be happy and merry on his jolly way. Well today he confronted me with wanting after explaining to me a raid system, raid 1.
he has 3 computers, right now all with 2 hdd identical sizes ready to be cloned.
What I'm thinking is backup all 3 computers with norton ghost, then use a 16 gig thumb to back their data up daily. Really, what I'd like to do is have everything autobacked up on the larger of the three systems, a 500gb drive via the network on the fly, or hourly, along with the cloned idea.

is there a free cloning software similar to ghost but no annual fee?
what software would I be looking at to do autobackups of specific folders of specific computers say every hour of every day. I know norton ghost can do this, but I'm looking for free programs.
I swigged some nyquil about 10 minutes ago and it's hitting me hard now.
I'll ask more in the morning.
