how much is this laptop worth?

Sorry i do not know all of the information for this but could you tell me about how much this laptop is worth? It is a Brand new Acer
Pentium M processor ( i am not sure of the Ghz, but it is equivalent to a P4 3.2 Ghz)
40 GB hard drive
512 Ram
14.1 inch screen
with Windows XP media center.

You can get $500ish for the laptop all together.

Pentium M is like a Pentium 4 for laptops, so its okay.

Obviously I would, it's a heck of a deal for $300, because you could throw in an external HD and it would be pretty nice.

But personally, I won't because my computer is good enough, and I'm short on cash.

It's worth $300. If it were brand new ina store $550 sounds about right. Don't expect it's performance to knock your socks off but it's just fine for surfing/music/pics and some light gaming. Acer's definitely not the best laptop brand imo but at that price I'd be tempted myself.
