It is. I'd think you could sell it for 250, 300 if you find the right buyer.

Yea that sounds fair to me. I'm probably going to sell it to my friend who doesn't know much about computers for like $160-175. Thanks, that was all I was looking for.

I hate to say it, but if you do some searching through advertised sales you can find a newer Sempron or Celeron machine with a DVD burner, 512mb, a 17-in CRT and a bigger HD for $200.

Some manufactures really cut corners by mandating an AOL subscription , submitting 9 rebates, or having a locked partition to which you have to burn your own reinstall disks. But unless you're system is somewhat current as mainstream, you won't get much for it. I personally wouldn't pay over $100 USD for your setup.

Yea that always happens. Up in Canada there aren't to many great deal. This is the cheapest thing that I could find on dell.ca. What if I part it out to people?

CPU: $45

Motherboard: $40

RAM:$30

Harddrive: $45

Case/power supply: $25

Burner: $20 or something
